I’m Going to Camp

It’s April 1st but this is no joke!

This month I’m participating in Camp NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing 50,000 more words in my draft of Becoming Neoma before April is over.

That averages to about 1667 words a day which is a lot since I currently don’t write everyday. I have a full-time job as a chemist and I’m a wedding photographer (with two April weddings to shoot and edit).

Right now, I write mostly on the weekends and only write after work during the week if I’m extremely inspired. I’ll play around with my daily word goal until I find something that works for me and still helps me reach that 50,000 word goal.
