Kayla Ivey is a science-fiction & fantasy author based in Northeast Ohio. Kayla is an accomplished chemist and wedding photographer. She fell in love with writing in her senior year of college when she decided to take a Creative Writing class to round out the final semester of her chemistry degree.

When she is not writing, Kayla is reading fantasy, science-fiction, mythology, and non-fiction books in hopes of completing her yearly reading challenge on Goodreads. Originally from Florida, she resides in Northeast Ohio where she loves when the leaves change colors and stays indoors when the snow falls.
